How to have OCNS sponsor your meeting
OCNS sponsors meetings and workshops relevant to computational neuroscience and the educational mission of the organization. Sponsored meetings should carry the OCNS logo and generate a benefit for our members.
- The meeting should be international and have an open registration.
- The sponsoring can take different forms, depending on the size and scope of the meeting, and can cover both organizational and financial aspects if the meeting is run by a non-profit organization.
- You may request up to $ 4,000.00 US dollars support.
Our formal criteria for evaluation include:
- Student demographics: Must demonstrate diversity of accepted students in the level of education, fields of study, gender and geography.
- Faculty demographics: Must demonstrate diversity in fields of study, gender and geography.
- Program objectives and outcomes: Applications must clearly state the learning goals, objectives and outcomes of the program.
- Success and impact through the years: Requesting workshop organizers must submit an approved agenda and describe the success and impact through the years. These include increasing participation, engaging diverse communities, alumni success and maturing program goals and objectives.
