CNS 2013 Paris: Meeting Venue

CNS 2013 will take place at the Université Paris Descartes in the Latin quarter of Paris: 45, rue des Saints-Pères:

Registration will take place in the Grand Hall.

Poster sessions will take place in both the Grand Hall and the Petit Hall.

How to get to the meeting venue

  • From Charles de Gaulle Airport: Buy a RER ticket and take RER line B into Paris. Disembark at the St. Michel station and transfer to the metro, line 4 in the direction Mairie de Montrouge, using your RER ticket. After two stops get off, at the Saint Germain-des-Prés station, and take the right exit.
  • From Orly Airport: Get an Orlyval ticket, valid also for the RER and Metro, and take the Orlyval shuttle train to Antony. Transfer to the RER B train into Paris and disembark at the Station St. Michel. Here take metro line 4 in the direction Mairie de Montrouge. After two stops get off, at the Saint Germain-des-Prés station, and take the right exit.


  • From Gare du Nord: : Take the metro line 4 in the direction Mairie de Montrouge. Get off at the station Saint Germain-des-Prés and take the right exit.
  • From Gare de l’Est: : Take the metro line 4 in the direction Mairie de Montrouge. Get off at the station Saint Germain-des-Prés and take the right exit.
  • From Gare Montparnasse : Take the metro line 4 in the direction Porte de Clignancourt. Get off at the station Saint Germain-des-Prés and take the right exit.
  • From all other train stations: Use the metro map to find a line that connects to line 4. Go to the station Saint Germain-des-Prés and take the right exit.


From the metro station Saint Germain des Prés:

Look for the café 'Les Deux Magots' and walk in that direction along the Boulevard saint Germain. After approx. 200 meters turn right into the rue des Saints-Pères. The university is the big Building (from the photo above) at your right hand side.

How to get to the gala diner

Take one of the buses that go from the meeting venue to the diner place.

If you don't make it to the bus, take the Metro, it's very easy:

  • Take line 4 at Saint Germain-des-Prés in direction Porte de Clignancourt.
  • At Chatelet, change to line 14 in direction Olympiades.
  • Get out at Cour Saint-Émilion.
  • Follow this map.
