CNS 2012 Atlanta/Decatur: Meeting Venue

NOTICE: Online booking has been closed. New registrations will be possible onsite.

Onsite registration opens at 3 pm -11 pm on Friday, July 20 in EVANS Hall (Letitia Pate Evans Hall, Agnes Scott College campus). Late arrivals (after 11pm till 1am) for dorm room: phone numbers will be posted on the door of EVANS Hall, which will ring the person that will give you your assigned dorm room key. Registration is open from 8:30 am to 11 pm on Saturday and Sunday and then during meeting hours on all other days.  All registration are in Evans.

When you arrive, go to Evans Hall (Agnes Scott Campus, click here for campus map) to register (and if you requested student accommodations, you will be assigned to a dorm room). Our CNS2012 website (Local Info & Travel) gives explicit directions on how to get to Decatur and to the campus.

  CNS 2012 will take place at the Agnes Scott College For Women located in Decatur, GA,

  a small town with a lot of American charm connected by metro to Atlanta and its

Banquet: The banquet will take place in Evans Hall at Agnes Scott College on Tuesday, July 24th, from 7pm till midnight. The event will start with dinner (vegetarian and gluten free options available) followed by live music entertainment. Our Local Committee has selected for you the Savoy Kings, one of the hottest swing bands in Atlanta playing upbeat jazz perfect for dancing. As usual, prizes will be awarded to the best student presentations during the party.

   We announce the CNS*2012 Photo Contest!

50 USD cash awards will be given at the banquet for three photos posted on our Facebook page        (http://www.facebook.com/CNS2012Atlanta) by participants. Photos must have been taken during the CNS*2012   meeting. The three photos will be selected based on most number of "likes" across all submissions, across funny photos, and across serious science photos, respectively.

The deadline for evaluation of "likes" is Tuesday July 24th, 6pm (local time).

Come prepared, and start taking and posting photos the moment you arrive! Most importantly, have fun taking pictures and sharing them! We are looking forward to seeing your submissions and don't forget to "like" others' submissions.

 T-Shirts: CNS 2012 T-Shirts ($15 USD) are available for purchase in many sizes if you order via the registration form until June 1st, 2012:

   - Male sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL and

   - Female sizes XS, S, M, L, XL

 After June 1st we will only have few sizes (Male sizes - M, L, XL).
