Student Accommodations

 

Winship   Daily overnight accommodations that include complimentary light breakfast will be available at Agnes Scott College.

  These are dormitory style rooms with one or two single beds, air conditioned, and shared bathroom (males and females

  on separate floors).

  Single Occupancy: $80 person/night

  Double Occupancy: $55 person/night - Roommate request and payment (for both) must be made at the time of booking.

 


Housing can only be booked together with your CNS registration.

Earliest check in date is Friday, July 20th, 2012 and the latest check out date is Friday, July 27, 2012. There are few single rooms available. Room occupancy will be made on a first come first served basis. To reserve your spot you must complete the registration form early which will become available on the same date. 

Notice: There is no wireless Internet available in the dormitory rooms. However, rooms have an Ethernet data port for each resident, but you must bring your own cable.

Directions to/from Agnes Scott (walking distance ~11min):

Cross campus toward E College Ave; Take passage under the rail road bridge to cross E College Ave;

Walk on Church St. till E Ponce De Leon Ave; Take left on E Ponce De Leon Ave; 

Turn right onto Clairemont Ave; Destination on the left.

Room rate: $119 plus tax

A limited number (50) of rooms are available at the newly renovated Courtyard by Marriott (www.marriott.com/atldc) in downtown Decatur very close to Agnes Scott at the very competitive rate of $119 plus tax.  The hotel is very close to the Decatur MARTA train stop.  Included is free wireless internet and shuttle service to Agnes Scott by arrangement.  Parking is an additional $8 per calendar day.  Because we had to contract to obtain this very low rate we are obliged to fill the rooms as much as possible.  Therefore, we ask that only people who will occupy the room for at least 4 nights make use of this special rate.  Most rooms have two Queen beds (1.52 m wide and 2.03 m long) and are suitable for sharing; about 40% have a single King bed (1.93 m wide and 2.03 m long).

If demand is high for these rooms with the minimum 4 night stay then we may be able to increase our quota if they fill early enough.
